Korean Websites

The reason I'm posting this cause I find this interesting compilation of Korean's online advertising and to share that's all. Credits for all the hard work still goes to Nextrapixel

 Read Before Commenting! Thanks!

As according to what I've learn in E-Marketing, the Korean Internet Industry has been growing in recent years and more than 80 percent of their households in South Korea are connected with broadband access. Korean Internet users have been found to be more active in their Internet usage and younger than Internet users in the United States. With so much focus point on Korea Web Industry, career path for Korea web designers and programmers seems bright and promising.

When you happened to stumble upon a Korean website which seems pretty much rare, the functionality of the site might just disappoint you. But the hard works and the creativeness of Korean designers should not be discounted simply because of some operational defect.

The reason I'm posting this cause I find this thing interesting with their online advertising method and to share that's all. Credits for all the hard work still goes to Nextrapixel

Discovering A Korean Website

While Korean websites may be hard to navigate around even translate in English, some of the design elements are simply appalling. Though as common as its neighbor across the island, Korean websites make full use of Flash as much as Japan websites. The flash adoption seems to be an ongoing trend in today Asia web design and development. Though their other technologies may be on par with International level, their field in Web design and development certainly has much room for improvement.

Visual Vs Operational

Well, some may argue that Korean web sites are hard to navigate and difficult to use. They seems to take longer time to load, more potential of having errors and generally do not work well in most browsers. The Korean website creators may not mixed well when it comes to global resources like Google or Wikipedia, because Korean users' awareness of or participation in these services is little to none. But some of the website graphical effects and design elements are simply top notched.

Presenting The Most For Their Visitors

Korean websites tend to make an efficient use of space. Korean web users want information to be shown as much as possible. They want to be able to, for instance, scan all of the headlines of the newspaper in just a few seconds, or find the latest and greatest gadget in their online store without much moving the mouse or clicking. The compact design of Korean web sites is ideally suited for this situation.

Flash Is Their Essence

Flash is used to good effect by Korean Web creators to produce cute and approachable character for each site. Without the limitations that HTML has, Korean web designers can make something that is truly unique for each site, and displays the character of both the designers and the web site owner. They have sacrificed standards compliance for attractiveness.

Forget About SEO

The web also works differently in South Korea. Most of their search portals does not crawls web pages automatically, instead they based their search databases on registration and payment from web sites. Hence they do not care much about SEO, less searching for them in Google.

Nextrapixel presents you the ever so hard to find Korean websites that might give you an insight into Korean web designers ideology and creativity.

What You guys think about it? Cool eh?

I'm glad and happy to say that I'm a Soshified member! Why do i say so?  Because If you’re a Soshified member, you probably have noticed that now SSF has more than 50,000 registered members. That number means Soshified is now the largest international site for any specific K-pop artist. Congrats to Soshified!
Soshified
It’s been revealed that SNSD’s fan-cafes in two most popular Korea portal sites, Daum and Naver, are both the biggest among fan-cafes for idol girl groups. What surprised me is, apparently their Daum fan-cafe is now even bigger than most of Korean boy bands’ out there. Number wise they are only losing to DBSK’s and Big Bang’s!

Here’s the top 5 largest Daum fancafes of Korean Idol Groups:
  1. Dong Bang Shin Ki (Yuaerubi)798,717 Cassiopea

  2. Big Bang (YGBigBang) – 379,477 V.I.P

After 2 weeks of analyzing the specs of Mac, Sony, Hp and etc... I finally found a laptop that owns the requirements that i've been looking for. No doubt, its not an all rounder laptop like Mac, even though i prefer Mac but somehow i realize its gonna be hard for me if I wanna use Mac to play any casual games. Plus if i need to upgrade my Macbook RAM then I have to buy 2 extra 2GB worth of RAM and remove the existing 2 1GB RAM that comes with every Macbook. And its not worth it. So the Machine guy told me why not get a Macbook Pro then 15'inch which literally solves my problem but with that price of RM 8k I can actually buy 2 Macbook or even 3 of any other brand of laptop.

Macbook

Therefore I have to forgo the option of having Mac, So i turned to HP and Sony. But somehow Hp gives me an insecure feeling that the service centers are not that reliable and also the keyboard is kinda uncomfortable to type plus it get dirty with oil stains easily. The feeling of having to cramp while typing just killed my intention of even owning one no doubt the price is reasonable for the specs I need with features that i can watch TV on it.

In the end I chose Sony's New Vaio CW series, VGN-CW16FG Style Series cost me only RM 3999 for the specs and slick design that I've been looking for. I'm not sure if its overprice but in the market i think if i did any upgrades to any other brand would come to the same price as this? Check out the Specs.

What you guys think about it? Is it Worth while?

Why do you make me love you, why do you make my heart beat?
You're the one who can't come to me
Can't you understand my heart...all the words I say
is trying to say that I love you

So I don't get hurt, I should stop myself here
Even as I stop walking toward you, my heart moves farther
If I tell you that I love you, I think you will disappear
If you leave, I don't think I will ever love again
Because I think you're the one
I should let you go, but my heart doesn't want to listen

The world tells me to forget you
Again, fate is pushing you toward me

If I tell you that I love you, I think you will disappear
If you leave, I don't think I will ever love again
Because I think you're the one
I should let you go, but my heart doesn't want to listen
It's okay if stays like it is now, the times I spent with you
The dreamy days I had

I am the stupid person who could not tell you that I love you
I'm the tears that hid behind your laughter
I think my heart was hurt
Even though I tried to prevent it, you were already inside my heart

What should I do now?

Hooray! Holidays!

On Friday, I took my first and last Final Examination paper for the subject " E-Marketing " and to my surprise that went to Inti at 2pm I saw a few of my classmates busy copying notes on their case studies. Out of curiosity, I went over and ask what are they doing and they told me that they are writing definitions and even elaboration or I should say an Essay by literally copying the whole text book and squeezing to fit the 20 pages case study. Trust me! I'm not exaggerating! They really wrote freaking small just to save space to fit every important point for each chapter. Then they decided to ask me if i did any of it? My response was "No?" and I showed them my blank case study and they immediately salute me cause i was intending to memorize and just go in for the exam? Finally, I thought why not since they allow students to do that why not i grab the opportunity as well? and I sure did. I wrote only 2 pages of notes and still manage to do the exam with ease except the fact that I experience muscle cramp after writing 4 essays. This really shows that I'm not "FIT" anymore due to the lack of exercise.

Btw, there was a real bad jam after that at 7pm when I was about to head back to Klang. I reached home showered and went out to Aeon to have my dinner. I went there with the intention to buy "You are My Destiny" if there is any stock but turn out there were none and I spotted "Cinderella Man" another one by Yoona. I then realize that I had nothing to do for the holidays for the time being so why not buy and watch, so I brought it and was rather happy. However, that happy feeling made me feel sad too cause I actually spend half of my savings to buy it and it cost me RM 99.90. It really burnt a hole in my pocket but it is worth every single sen of it.

So Far I've watched 4 episodes of it and its just really good in my opinion.
The main character Kwon Sang Woo really knows how to act 2 different character. Totally different!
It's a Must Watch if you are a Korean drama Addict!
Trust me! You'll enjoy it!
